Section 16
Category of Veterinarians
For the purpose of registering the names of veterinarians according to this Act, veterinarians with the following qualifications are placed in the following category:-
(a) “Category A”: Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science from a recognized educational institution with at least seven years of experience in the relevant field or Master’s degree in Veterinary Science from a recognized educational institution with at least ten years of experience in the related field or from a recognized educational institution Veterinarian who has obtained a bachelor's degree in veterinary science and has at least fifteen years of experience in the relevant field or has obtained a bachelor's degree in veterinary science from a recognized educational institution and is employed in the service of the Government of Nepal at least in the gazetted first class or equivalent position or at least in the position of associate professor in a university.
(B) “B Category”: Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science from a recognized educational institution with at least five years of experience in the relevant field or Master's degree from a recognized educational institution with at least seven years of experience in the related field or in Veterinary Science from a recognized educational institution A veterinarian with at least ten years of experience in the relevant field after obtaining a bachelor's degree or having obtained a bachelor's degree in veterinary science from a recognized educational institution in the service of the Government of Nepal in at least a gazetted second grade position or in a university at least as an assistant professor.
(c) “Category C”: Veterinarians who have at least a bachelor's degree in veterinary science from a recognized educational institution.
(a) “Category A”: Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science from a recognized educational institution with at least seven years of experience in the relevant field or Master’s degree in Veterinary Science from a recognized educational institution with at least ten years of experience in the related field or from a recognized educational institution Veterinarian who has obtained a bachelor's degree in veterinary science and has at least fifteen years of experience in the relevant field or has obtained a bachelor's degree in veterinary science from a recognized educational institution and is employed in the service of the Government of Nepal at least in the gazetted first class or equivalent position or at least in the position of associate professor in a university.
(B) “B Category”: Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science from a recognized educational institution with at least five years of experience in the relevant field or Master's degree from a recognized educational institution with at least seven years of experience in the related field or in Veterinary Science from a recognized educational institution A veterinarian with at least ten years of experience in the relevant field after obtaining a bachelor's degree or having obtained a bachelor's degree in veterinary science from a recognized educational institution in the service of the Government of Nepal in at least a gazetted second grade position or in a university at least as an assistant professor.
(c) “Category C”: Veterinarians who have at least a bachelor's degree in veterinary science from a recognized educational institution.
